We took our first official family Vacation this week. We went to the most magical place on earth. WALT DISNEY WORLD in Orlando, FL. MICKEY MOUSE was our mission and we had four days to complete our task. The first day started with a trip to the airport. We had been counting the days until our trip and David and Lauren were so excited! When we got to our gate the first thing David said was..... "Where are we going to sleep?" Let's just say our vacation was going to be full of laughter! We arrived in Orlando and were taken to our resort. We knew our mission and were ready 5 minutes after we arrived to head to the Magic Kingdom. Our mission to see Mickey was complete before we even left the resort. SO, a new mission was to be made. David said... BUZZ and WOODY... So, that was our next task. We spent some time at the Magic Kingdom and then decided because we were going to get up early the next day we would head back for some rest.
The next morning we were out the door at 7am for Breakfast with Donald Duck and his Pals at the Animal Kingdom. We had a great time. Goofy, Donald, Mickey and Pluto were all there and they came around and took pictures with all of us. We spent the morning riding rides and going on the Kilimanjaro Safari's. That afternoon we headed to MGM where the mission of seeing BUZZ and WOODY were first on the list. After a parade and seeing Tow Ma tor and Lightning MC Queen we were off to find Toy Story Land. When we found them you would have thought we found a million dollars.
As you can see in the pictures. David and Lauren were happy to have completed their mission. Dinner that night was at the Brown Derby... the food was good and the atmosphere was fantastic. The highlight of the evening was a Birthday cake and a personal phone call from Mickey Mouse to wish the twins HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! The whole day was incredible.
